The average reported cost of premium gas in cities within Mecklenburg County was $4.16 per gallon.
Of the 310 reported gas stations in cities within Mecklenburg County, 115 offer premium gas.
The average reported price of premium gas in North Carolina was $4.20, compared to $4.11 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
