In the fourth quarter of 2023, University Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center stood out as the largest nursing home in Mecklenburg County, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Data shows that the nursing center had a total of 207 beds available, 103 more than the average in Mecklenburg County as of the fourth quarter of 2023. They aided an average of 148.6 residents during that period.
University Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center had an overall rating of 2 from the CMS, which lags behind the average of 2.6 recorded for nursing homes in North Carolina.
During the quarter, White Oak Manor – Charlotte stood out as the second largest nursing home in Mecklenburg County, with 180 beds available. Royal Park Rehabilitation and Health Center of Matthews came in third place, with 169 beds available.
As of the fourth quarter of 2023, University Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has spent a total of $24,026 in two fines and suffered two penalties.
