Jessica Timmons, a standout alumna of Independence High School, took part in Alabama’s 76-71 triumph against the Florida Gators on Sunday, Feb. 22.

The 5-foot-8 senior guard delivered 34 points, collected five rebounds and handed out two assists across 38 minutes on the court.

Timmons and the Crimson Tide are scheduled to meet the Vanderbilt Commodores on the road on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m.
