NC-51 will be shut down between Brighton Park Drive and NC-218 soon. Please plan for delays and/or detours while traveling around the area.
Officers will be posted throughout the route to ensure no vehicles enter the route and upon conclusion of the parade, the roadway will remain closed until pedestrian traffic is minimal and safe for motorists to proceed travel.
Although vehicles in the parade are moving at a slow speed, please do not run up to any float or cross in the path of travel of any moving vehicles during the parade.
We encourage patience and your attention to your surroundings for all attending to ensure a safe evening. As always, Mint Hill officers on site are available to you for any questions or concerns. Report any suspicious activity to the closest officer and/or contact 911.
