Awesome job by two Central Division officers who reunited a sweet husky with his owner! Officers Ashton Wince and Christopher Smith came across the husky that befriended two homeless individuals in Uptown.
Officers learned the dog did not belong to them (they peacefully surrendered the dog). The officers took the good boy to Animal Care & Control where Tech Margaret Ouya was able to check for a chip. They learned the dog’s name is “Chubb.” Contact was made with the owner who quickly responded and was reunited with his lost boy. Amazing work by both officers and the AC&C tech! We’re so glad Chubb is home!
