The Town of Matthews Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Resource Department is hosting the 9th Annual “Pawsitively Matthews,” to be held in Stumptown Park (120 South Trade Street) on Saturday, November 5, from 10am – 3pm.
The event will host over 40 pet-friendly vendors including area pet stores, veterinarians, treat bakeries, groomers, pet sitters, and more! There will be dogs available for adoption from several area rescue groups. There are off-leash areas for play, food trucks, and a beer “Pawvilion” hosted by Seaboard Brewing. The Coconut Groove Band will play sets at 12pm and 2pm on the stage.
The Daredevil Dogs Frisbee Shows will be held at 11:00am and 1:00pm, and the Matthews Police Department K9 Unit demonstrations will be held at 11:30am and 1:30pm.
Jamison Realty is the Presenting Sponsor of the event. Other sponsors include Passionate Paws Animal Hospital, Skyla Credit Union, Hollywood Feed, and Poop 911.
