Message from Mint Hill Public Works

Mint Hill Public Works is prepared for the remnants of Hurricane Ian. Crews will be coordinating with emergency services to respond as quickly as possible.

To report an emergency, such as tree down in the road or a flooded street, call 9-1-1.

To report a non-emergency stormwater issue, call 3-1-1.

To report non-emergency issues such as trees down on the side of the road or on a sidewalk, call the Public Works after hours/emergency line at 980-292-1611 and leave a message.

Residents are reminded to not approach fallen trees especially if they are touching any utility lines—even telecommunication lines can carry a charge.

Avoid flood-prone areas and do not go outside during the storm. Do not enter flood water of any depth and do not drive around barricades. Most storm-related deaths and injuries occur when people go outside to make a last-minute preparation, attempt to make a repair, or try to drive through flood water.
