Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Presents: Bike Safety & Guided Ride on September 10, 2022

Date and Time:

Saturday, September 10, 2022

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Location: Matthews

Description:

Join us for a bike safety program and a guided ride!

Learn about bike safety and greenway etiquette as we ride on the Heritage Trail from the Matthews Library to the Greenway connector at John Street and back. This will be a slower-paced, "no drop" ride (nobody left behind). Total ride length is 2.75 miles on pavement with minor elevation changes.

The ride will begin at 10:00 a.m. Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the ride so we can check your equipment and sign waivers.

Families encouraged, and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Age requirement is 8 and up, but experienced riders under 8 are welcome. Each individual must be registered (a family of 3 requires 3 registrations, not just 1).
