Slow down and save lives! CMPD Major Crash Unit Det. Justin Kupfer spoke at a Celebration of Life Event honoring a local woman, Lee Strode, who was killed by a speeding driver on Highway 74 in December 2021. Det. Kupfer stresses most deadly crashes involve speeding.
CMPD deploys traffic enforcement to High Injury Network Corridors identified by the Charlotte Vision Zero Network Program to help eliminate speeding violence and deaths on the roads. But CMPD needs the community's help to slow down and follow traffic laws and help save lives.
