Training is vital for our Sheriff’s Response Team (SRT) and Crisis Negotiation Unit (CNU). This week both units got together to continue improving and being the best that they can be.
SRT is a group of highly trained deputy sheriffs who serve on the team voluntarily. SRT members serve in many positions throughout the agency and can be called out at any time to provide a specialized response.
CNU handles the Sheriff’s Office Crisis/Hostage Negotiation Program. CNU provides negotiation services in situations involving hostages, suicidal individuals, or barricaded subjects.
