Our partnership with Center for Employment Opportunities - CEO has helped to make Mecklenburg County a cleaner community! CEO’s vision is that anyone with a recent criminal history who wants to work has the preparation and support needed to find a job and stay connected to the labor force.
So far, this partnership has assisted Solid Waste with:
- Equipment upkeep
- Removal of trash and litter from roadsides and illegal dumps
- Landscaping improvements to recycling sites
