Please join us in recognizing our July Employee of the Month: Detention Officer Makeda Romeo!
Officer Romeo has been employed with MCSO since August 2018. She reports for duty every day with a pleasant attitude ready and willing to assist her shift in any way that she can. Recently Officer Romeo has been working with the Disciplinary Detention Unit. Due to her rapport with the vast majority of residents she was able to de-escalate a a situation inside the unit quickly without incident. Officer Romeo has also been selected to assist with the (R)IGNITE program because of her dependability and "can do" attitude.
