Description
Learn about fabric arts and explore weaving with presenter Jillian Mueller.
Make your own handwoven tapestry on a lap loom in this 2-hour workshop. We’ll work through all the steps you need to know to create your own woven masterpiece, from start to finish, with plenty of time to explore and play with different materials and techniques. This workshop is sponsored by Culture Blocks—a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County.
For Ages 16+
This program will take place indoors at the Matthews Branch library. Face coverings are strongly encouraged for both participants and staff. Indoor programs will be operating at a reduced attendance capacity and will include social distancing based on the library space.
