Roanoke Sheriff's Office staff members visited MCSO to learn more about the launch and implementation of (R)IGNITE at MCDC-Central. 

This initiative was created by the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan and has since launched in Hennepin County Minnesota, as well as here in Mecklenburg County.

RIGNITE: Residents Individually Growing Naturally & Intentionally Through Education was launched in March, presenting programming opportunities to all residents.

Since the launch, MCSO has seen an increase in residents seeking mental health treatment, positive programming.
