MCSO, proudly joined Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department & North Carolina State Highway Patrol for operation M.I.A (Motorist Intestate Awareness). This operation was put together by the NCSHP in memory of CMPD Officer, Mia Goodwin.
This operation was a multi-agency effort designed to change driver’s behavior when they encounter stopped emergency vehicles along our highways and to eliminate traffic fatalities.
