We had over 1,000 student submissions to our Do The Write Thing contest, a nationwide program that asks middle school students to write about their experience with teen violence. The entries were eye-opening: teens wrote about bullying, gun violence, abuse, family conflict and community violence, as well as how they could make a change. Here are some things they had to say.
