Mecklenburg County will accept applications for its Mortgage Assistance Payment Program through April 15, 2022.
The Mortgage Assistance Payment Program is available thanks to CARES Act funding provided through the Community Block Development Grant.
The Mortgage Payment Assistance Program provides financial assistance to low to moderate income residents in the towns and unincorporated areas who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19.
Eligible homeowners can receive 3 to 6 months of consecutive payments to use toward their mortgage payments including principal, interest, taxes, and insurance.
Applications will be accepted until funds are depleted.
