The Charlotte Concert Band presents:
Searching for an exciting family outing that’s sure to delight all? We’ve got you covered! Load up the kids and grandkids and bring them to Kidventures: A Family Concert. This musical adventure is filled with a lively lineup of tunes that everyone in the family will be familiar with.
Our specially curated performance recalls the joy of Saturday mornings cartoons – colorful stories with lots of giggles and nary a care in the world. Listeners will enjoy classics like Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, Ponchielli’s Dance of the Hours, and Arlen’s The Wizard of Oz. Medleys of childhood favorites and cartoon-inspired classical music will bring out the playful side in everyone.
Children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed toys to our one-of-a-kind band concert.
This is a free concert. "Peter And The Wolf" will be narrated by professional actor, director and educator, Saluda Camp.
