Town of Mint Hill issued the following announcement on Jan. 25.
Our thoughts and prayers are with our friends in Indian Trail. Mayor Michael Alvarez recently lost his battle with cancer. We extend our deepest condolences to the Town of Indian Trail and to Mayor Alvarez’s family.
