Town of Huntersville issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.
The construction of the Holbrook Street Extension Project will be completed in January 2022. Holbrook Street will be open to traffic east of Marguerite Lane to Aldi’s shopping center parking lot. This will add connectivity to the Huntersville roadway network. There will be two future projects stemming from Holbrook Street to create alternative routes to and from Gilead Rd and US21 (Statesville Road).
