September 2021: Home prices in Matthews increased

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2021 in Matthews rose by $80,000 while total sales increased by 8.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2021, there were 53 homes sold, with a median sale price of $400,000 - a 25% increase over the $320,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Matthews in September 2020.

The median sales tax in Matthews for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,484, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for September 2021.
