Town of Huntersville issued the following announcement on Oct. 13.
The Town of Huntersville is, once again, partnering with Mecklenburg County and Waste Connections to offer FREE Lawn & Leaf bags to local residents. Residents can just drive through the parking lot between Veterans Park and the American Legion on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 between 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and receive bags. If you are unable to attend, Mecklenburg County residents can still pick up bags at the North Mecklenburg Recycling Center at 12300 Statesville Road (US-21). For more information, call 704-875-6541.
