Follow the Cookie Crawl on November 6: Collect Cookies from Davidson Businesses

Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.

The Town of Davidson is pleased to announce the sixth annual “Cookie Crawl” as an effort to introduce residents and visitors to Davidson businesses, kick off the holiday shopping season, and support our local retailers, all while visiting shops safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Saturday, November 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. over 20 Davidson businesses will hand out freshly-baked, pre-packaged cookies to passport holders. To participate, please purchase a ticket for $20 via this online application: www.townofdavidson.org/CookieCrumb. A maximum of 100 tickets will be sold, and each ticket guarantees one cookie per location.

On November 6, please check in at the table in front of the Village Store at 110 S. Main Street to pick up your passport and cookie collection bag. The passport will include a list of all participating businesses and a map. Participants who have not pre-paid before November 6 can pay at the table until supplies last. All participants should adhere to social distancing guidelines and must wear a mask while inside all retailers.

“This is a great way to kick-off the holiday baking and shopping season by visiting our local shops – you’ll get cookies to eat, share, or freeze for the future,” said Economic Development Manager Kim Fleming.
