Town of Huntersville issued the following announcement on Oct. 1.

Livable Meck and the Mecklenburg County Health Department invite parents, educators, faith leaders, coaches, and anyone who works with or cares about young people to an online event.

Learn how to talk to young people in an effective and compassionate way about the dangers of vaping. Now more than ever, young people are turning to e-Cigarettes since they are easy to access, taste good, or because they started to help manage stress/anxiety. The event is FREE, but registration is required.
