Town of Huntersville issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.
Holiday Trash Update - Friday Routes to be Collected on Saturday (Christmas and New Years Day)
Waste Connections will be on a one-day delay for Friday routes these next two weeks due to Christmas and New Year's Day falling on Friday. That means that residents who normally see their trash, recycling and yard waste collected on Fridays will have them collected Saturday by Waste Connections.
