The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance will honor an organization and a leader when it holds its annual 2020 Health Experience event that will focus on a post-pandemic environment.

The event today will take place virtually this year because of COVID-19, the Alliance said.

The virtual event will award an American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Qualified Education 2.0 credit to a participant who plans to apply to the ACHE, according to the Charlotte Alliance website

"This year we’ll honor one organization and one individual who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made positive impacts across our community during the COVID-19 pandemic," Charlotte Regional Business Alliance's website states.

The event brings together "top executives, policymakers, consumers and business leaders," from North Carolina and nationwide to tackle issues and progress "of the healthcare ecosystem post-pandemic," the Alliance website states.

Topics being discussed include tech improvement, returning to work, supply chains and mental health going forward, according to Alliance's Facebook page.
