Town of Cornelius issued the following announcement on Feb. 5.
LAST CALL FOR LEAVES!
Still have leaves hanging around? Then 'leaf' them out for our last round of clean up!
Our Public Works crews are making their final rounds. If you have leaves left, pile them up at the curb, with no limbs or trash, and we’ll vacuum them up.
If we miss you this time, don’t worry!
Republic Service (our waste collection vendor) will continue to collect up to 20 bags of leaves weekly on your normal waste collection day. Just be sure to ’leaf’ your bags untied!
