On Wednesday, Feb. 19, former David W. Butler High School standout Matthew Kenney’s current college team, the Queens Royals, lost 7-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The game took place at Founders Park. This was their first matchup against the Gamecocks this season.

The Royals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at The Stick Williams Dream Fields against Yale Bulldogs.
