Kamora Brown, a former standout at Independence High School and now playing for Lees-McRae Bobcats, will take part in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The Bobcats open as the No. 8 seed, facing the top-seeded Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters in the first round.
The opening matchup is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 5 p.m. in B. Frank Tex Turner Arena.
