Fayetteville State Broncos, led by former Carmel Christian School standout Chandler Kennedy, were defeated by the California Vulcans 96-83 on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup was held at Hagerty Family Events Center at 7:30 p.m. and marked the team’s first meeting with the California Vulcans during the tournament.
