On Friday, Feb. 21, former David W. Butler High School standouts Canon Pierce and Zachary Gaydos’ current college team, the UNC Asheville Bulldogs, lost 13-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks.

The game took place at Bill Brooks Field. This was their first matchup against the Seahawks this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. at Bill Brooks Field against UNC Wilmington Seahawks.
