On Friday, March 13, Chloe Ross, a former David W. Butler High School standout, and her collegiate team, the Augusta Jaguars, were defeated 83-74 by the Lenoir–Rhyne Bears in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The contest, which tipped off at 2:30 p.m., marked the Jaguars’ first tournament meeting with the Lenoir–Rhyne Bears and took place at B. Frank Tex Turner Arena.
