Alabama’s Jessica Timmons, Independence High alum, set for NCAA Tournament appearance

Jessica Timmons, a former standout for Independence High School who now plays for the Alabama Crimson Tide, is headed to the NCAA Tournament.

Alabama enters the tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face the 11th seeded Rhode Island Rams in the opening round.

Their first matchup is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, at 1:30 p.m. at KFC Yum! Center.
